Longford Lights is a partnership between Longford County Council and Mide Arts Group. Funding support is provided by the Arts Council of Ireland, Creative Ireland, and Fáilte Ireland.
It is a magical colour and light immersive experience built by artists and the local community. Longford Lights 2024 centred around the theme of 'belonging’, made for and by the people.

Community and artistic spirit comes together for Longford Lights, with hundreds of people from the local community working alongside national and international artists. It is both grassroots in its creation and ambitious in its vision. The building of the festival creates spaces for artistic learning within the community and among artists. It creates a buzz of activity, a new way to see Longford Town and many new opportunities for local artists
