This artwork is based on the Ceist logo. It provides a focal point for the space while embodying the values of the school.
The symbolic ‘Ceist’ form was chosen because:
• the Ceist Charter is central to the ethos of the school;
• the shape of the artwork will pick up features of the architectural circular skylights;
• the ‘Ceist’ logo itself comes from a Celtic High Cross, and while this is very old, it works well in a contemporary setting.
The artwork comprises two spiral shapes. Within the shapes of this artwork are words taken from the core values of the Ceist Charter, intertwined with complimentary images.
